FISIPOL UGM Facilitates the Implementation of UM UGM CBT 2025

Yogyakarta, July 2, 2025 — The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIPOL) at Universitas Gadjah Mada once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting the student admission process by serving as one of the official venues for the Universitas Gadjah Mada Entrance Examination (UM UGM) Computer-Based Test (CBT) 2025. The examination took place over four days, from July 2 to 5, 2025.

As one of the designated test centers in Yogyakarta, FISIPOL UGM provided two venues—the Auditorium on the 4th Floor and the East Seminar Room—which were optimally prepared to ensure a smooth testing process. The exam was conducted in two daily sessions: the morning session from 07:30 to 11:45 WIB, and the afternoon session from 13:00 to 17:15 WIB. On Friday, the afternoon session was held from 13:45 to 17:00 WIB.

The large number of participants sitting for the exam at FISIPOL UGM reflected the high enthusiasm of prospective students from across the country to become part of the academic community at UGM, known as the “people’s campus.” FISIPOL ensured that all supporting facilities—including comfortable test rooms, computerized systems, and stable internet connectivity—functioned at their best to create an orderly and conducive testing environment.

Beyond its role in facilitating the university admission process, FISIPOL’s involvement in the UM UGM CBT also represents a contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In particular, the activity aligns with SDG 4: Quality Education, by broadening access to inclusive and high-quality higher education opportunities. Furthermore, the provision of reliable digital infrastructure and well-prepared learning spaces reflects a contribution to SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, by ensuring that technology is effectively utilized to support efficiency and quality in the student selection process.

With a spirit of collaboration and service, FISIPOL UGM continues to play an active role in advancing national education strategies, building the foundation for Indonesia’s future through a well-educated generation ready to contribute to society.
