The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIPOL) at Universitas Gadjah Mada organized a consignment meeting to finalize the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) as part of the international accreditation process with ACQUIN (Accreditation, Certification and Quality Assurance Institute). The activity was attended by representatives from six study programs currently preparing for accreditation.
The event began with an opening speech by Joash Tapiheru, Secretary of the Quality Assurance Unit (UJM), who emphasized the importance of this accreditation process as part of FISIPOL UGM’s continuous efforts to enhance the quality of higher education.
The main agenda of the meeting included:

Alignment of ACQUIN data for six FISIPOL study programs (09:10–12:00 WIB)

The six study programs undergoing the ACQUIN international accreditation process are:

Each study program sent three representatives, consisting of the Head or Secretary of the Study Program and members of the Accreditation Team, to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the documents to be submitted to ACQUIN.
Through this activity, FISIPOL UGM demonstrates its strong commitment to improving the quality of education and academic governance while expanding international recognition in pursuit of its mission as a globally competitive faculty. This effort is also in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) — particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), reflecting the faculty’s dedication to excellence, collaboration, and sustainable academic development.
