Yogyakarta, March 13th 2024─Referring to the memorandum of cooperation with PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM), the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of Universitas Gadjah Mada (FISIPOL UGM) held a Kick Off and Socialization of the Use of Learn Management System (LMS) FOCUS UGM online on Wednesday (13/3). This socialization was held as an effort to provide an understanding of the use and e-learning materials on the UGM FOCUS LMS.
The initiation of this collaboration was originally based on PNM mission to support the smooth work of its employees through the provision of e-learning materials.
“The purpose of this e-learning is how the company can provide materials through an application that is efficient, effective, and easy to understand and can be a provision for area heads in supporting the smooth running of their work,” said Sunar Basuki, as the Director of Operations, Digital, and Information Technology in his speech.
Meanwhile, there are three main modules available as a result of this collaboration. Such as modules on understanding the community, conflict management, and modules on interpersonal communication. These modules are arranged according to the needs of employees in the field. “The materials are very important for our employees. And not only here, there will also be other modules that will be delivered through this application that can be utilized optimally,” added Sunar.
The Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences UGM, Dr. Wawan Mas’udi also said that the collaboration between the FISIPOL and PNM is a form of pilot project and joint initiative in order to increase community capacity. Especially, in accelerating the competency development of PNM employees.
“At the end of the class session (on the e-learning page) a certificate will be prepared. With the certificate, we hope to provide stronger provision and confidence for fellow employees in the future,” said Wawan.
The event was then continued with the provision of socialization related to the UGM FOCUS LMS by the Academic Information Unit team of FISIPOL UGM. Meanwhile, this cooperation page can be accessed through the link pnm.focusugm.id.
