Yogyakarta, March 9, 2026—The Sejahtera Bersama Sospol Cooperative held its Annual Members Meeting for the 2025 fiscal year on Monday (March 9) at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Auditorium, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM).

As an expression of the cooperative’s value of equality, the Annual Members Meeting (AGM) invited all members to attend and share their views on the cooperative’s future. Furthermore, discussions, including implementation results, plans, and oversight, were openly presented to all cooperative members. Wawan Mas’udi, advisor to the Sejahtera Bersama Sospol Cooperative, stated, “Cooperative membership is equal; there are no lecturers, no tenders, no seniors or juniors. The principle of cooperatives is equality among members. Therefore, we ask that everyone share their ideas for the future development of the cooperative,” he said.

The AGM was characterized by a deliberative atmosphere as several members expressed their aspirations. Several ideas emerged, including the need to integrate members’ businesses into the cooperative, develop collaboration with cooperatives for members with strategic assets, and increase service efficiency through the implementation of an integrated QRIS payment system.

The Chairman of the Sejahtera Bersama Sospol Cooperative, Paminto Adhi, stated in his presentation that the cooperative has experienced financial growth. He stated that in the 2025 fiscal year, the cooperative’s total revenue reached 2.9 billion Rupiah, through the business units they manage.

Wawan also emphasized the need to expand business branches to improve shared prosperity. “I think it’s important for us to emphasize that our cooperative’s existence can support the shared prosperity of the UGM Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIPOL) family. Therefore, let’s consider the best steps so that in the future, we can develop and replicate the cooperative’s business units currently on campus,” he said.

The Sejahtera Bersama Sospol Cooperative Annual Members Meeting serves not only as a platform for financial reporting but also as an important forum for deliberation on the future of the cooperative. The emphasis on equality, entrepreneurship, and decent work for all reflects the cooperative’s dedication to building a sustainable and inclusive environment for its members.
