Yogyakarta, April 27, 2026—The Department of Social Development and Welfare at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada, has successfully achieved UNGGUL (excellent) accreditation for its Master’s Program. This accreditation is conducted by the Independent Accreditation Institute for Social, Political, Administrative, and Communication Sciences (LAMSPAK), which uses assessment criteria aligned with several quality benchmarks for study program accreditation eligibility.
This UNGGUL accreditation was officially awarded based on LAMSPAK Executive Board Decree Number 107/AK.03.05/2026 dated April 27, 2026, which states that the Social Development and Welfare Master’s Program at Universitas Gadjah Mada has met the requirements for Excellent Accreditation status. The study program’s Accreditation Certificate is valid from April 27, 2026, to April 27, 2031.
With this achievement, the Department of Social Development and Welfare will continue to strengthen its commitment to developing academic and non-academic areas in accordance with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4, namely Quality Education.
