Hear Google’s Answers about Digital Entrepreneurship in the “Ask Me Anything” #1 Digital Intelligence Class

Yogyakarta, September 8th 2021─The Center for Digital Society presents a new learning session in a series of Digital Intelligence classes, namely the Ask Me Anything session. Held for the first time on Wednesday (8/9), the Ask Me Anything session of the Digital Intelligence class collaborated with Google Indonesia to delve deeper into “Digital Entrepreneurship: Next Level of Business in the Digital Era” with the general public, not limited to participants. Digital Intelligence class only. In the Ask Me Anything session which was hosted by Iradat Wirid as the Manager of the Digital Intelligence 2021 course, the speakers and participants had the opportunity to discuss how to run entrepreneurship with digital technologies that are now available, especially those on the Google platform.

The first speaker, Aidil Wicaksono as the Facilitator of Gapura Digital, Google’s idea program that supports Indonesian Small and Medium Enterprises to advance business through digital, explained four important points related to the execution of entrepreneurship with digital technology. The first point is the new behavior of consumers and the digital environment. The second point is the reason for starting an online business. The third point is the Google tools that can be used to grow an online business. And the fourth point is another digital tool needed to start an online business.

While Aidil talked more about things that tended to be more theoretical and technical, the second speaker, Imas Handayani as Operations Manager of the Google Skilling Program, actually shared more about the experiences he had at Google, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. In accordance with Iradat’s question given earlier, Imas recounted the efforts that Google had made to help the community during the COVID-19 pandemic, both related to technology such as filtering news related to the pandemic, as well as related to the welfare of the general public such as providing training for MSMEs.

Not only that, both Imas and Aidil also shared various answers which were very useful in the question and answer session with the participants. In fact, at the end of the event, Imas and Aidil also had the opportunity to choose the two most interesting questions given by the participants.
