Tens of Research Projects Were Presented in Fisipol Research Days 2018

Yogyakarta, 26 November 2018— The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (Fisipol) UGM held a research grant event once more.

This event was held from the 26th of November until the 28th of November 2018. At this year’s event, there were at least 63 research projects that were presented, which were conducted by both lecturers and students. This event was held in the Eastern Seminar Room on the second session on Monday (26/11). There were four research projects that were presented in front of Fisipol students.

The four research projects were from The Downstream Output Grant for The Research on Policy Advocation and The Downstream Output Grant for The Research on Community Service. For the Downstream Output Grant for The Research on Community Service, three research projects were presented. The first research project was conducted by Lisa Lindawati and her associates, which was entitled ‘Empowered Youth With Data #3 The Management Capacity Enhancement and The Production of Multi-Platform Content for The Optimization of The Implementation of SIPKADES’.

The second research project was conducted by Siti Daulah Khoiriati and her associates, entitled ‘The Initiation of The Development of Islamic Heritage Tourism in The Special Region of Yogyakarta’. The third research project by Ambar Tegush Sulistyani and her associates was entitled ‘The Strengthening of The Institutional Management of The Village Enterprise (Bumdes) in Ngestiharjo Village in Kulon Progo’. Meanwhile, the sole research project from The Downstream Output Grant for The Research on Policy Advocation category was entitled ‘Policy Dialogues Regarding the Plan for The Ratification on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons in Indonesia and Southeast Asia’ by Yunizar Adiputera.

This event was divided into two sessions; the morning session and the afternoon session, which took place in three different rooms. The three rooms were; the Faculty’s Meeting Room, the Eastern Seminar Room and the Digilib Cafe. This separation was based on research project groupings, which included research grants for Undergraduate students, Graduate students, Doctoral students, Student Groups, Inter-Faculty Collaboration, Triple Helix Collaboration, International Collaboration, The Downstream Output Grant for The Research on Policy Advocation and The Downstream Output Grant for The Research on Community Service. The research projects will be presented until the 28th of November 2018.
