Yogyakarta, 14 September 2022—Yogyakarta, September 14th 2022─Fisipol UGM’ Center For Digital Society (CfDS) is one of the media partners in Indonesia Content Creator Day by Hakka Indonesia. The event held online through Zoom on Wednesday (14/9) was aimed to raise the spirits of content creators in Indonesia.
The development of digital media evoked plenty of changes, specifically in the sector of employment. The opening of new occupations such as content writer, content creator, social media entrepreneurship, and other job posts create plenty of new opportunities for millennials. Hakka Indonesia is one of the biggest agencies that delves in the digital media sector. Hakka Indonesia also accommodates content creators and sellers through the TikTok platform. “Hakka Indonesia creates this Content Creator Day in order to raise the spirits of youth to be the next content creator,” said Debra Zuan the MC.
The event also invited four speakers who are experts in content creation to share their experiences and give some motivation. The four speakers are Indri Setyowati, Prasetya Katon, Natassya Bustaman, and Riza Pahlevi.
Riza Pahlevi is a well-known content creator based on his work, which is through the short movie titled “Makmum” which talks about his journey in building a career. “The Makmum movie was initially just a small project that I did with my university friends. We used to have to borrow equipment, but at least we wanted to start,” he said. He highlighted the most important point in being a content creator which is the courage to start.
The participants in the Hakka Indonesia webinar all enthusiastically interacted with the event. This is so because Hakka Indonesia is giving away scholarships and internship training for those who win the content creator challenge. Through this event, hopefully, the new generations can color the digital world by creating interesting, educational, and high-value content.
