Call for Paper: International Conference on Chinese Language Learning
Center for Chinese Indonesian Studies and the Chinese Department of Petra Christian University, in collaboration with Confucius Institute at State University of Malang gladly invite teachers, scholars, researchers, students and media, communication, cultural studies and linguistic experts to participate in International Conference on Chinese Language Learning, under the theme of Learning Chinese: Who and Why? which will be held on November 29-30, 2017 at Petra Christian University, Surabaya, Indonesia. We believe that this conference could provide a platform for participants to exchange ideas, obtain valuable experiences, and broaden their academic knowledge and networking. Papers are invited on the following sub themes:
1. Chinese as an International Language
2. Chinese as a Language in Business
3. Chinese for Academic Purpose
4. Chinese Language as an Identity Marker
5. Chinese as a Heritage Language
6. Chinese Language and National Resilience
Important Dates
June 30, 2017 : Deadline of abstract submission
July 20, 2017 : Notification of abstract acceptance
Upon receiving the notification, presenters should submit a full paper via the conference website.
September 30, 2017 : Deadline of paper submission
November 29-30, 2017: The conference event
