Yogyakarta, September 4, 2026—GAMAPI has officially launched this year’s Policy Land event series under the theme “Policy Deck: The Ground Where Future Policy Makers Shape Their First Move.” This theme positions the event as a foundational platform for aspiring policymakers to take their initial steps.
The event series is divided into two main sessions. The morning began with an introduction to the academic program and curriculum. This session was designed to provide a fundamental understanding of the academic structure and the course progression that new students will experience.
The program then moved on to an introduction of GAMAPI’s various divisions. This session aimed to give new students a clear overview of each division’s duties, functions, and roles, enabling them to more easily identify their interests and potential future contributions within the organizational structure.
Policy Land is a recurring event that serves as the gateway to student life in the Public Management and Policy program and facilitates the integration of new members into GAMAPI. Embodying the spirit of this year’s theme, the event aims to cultivate students who are ready to contribute to the field of public policy.
