The event featured a presentation on the findings of the Academic Draft study and a discussion among relevant stakeholders. The study was driven by existing social and legal imperatives. Socially, there is a need to address the currently low level of compliance with regional regulations (*perda*) and regional head regulations (*perkada*). From a legal perspective, the study identified a need to further adjust the regional regulation to ensure alignment with national-level legislation.
The study emphasizes the importance of involving community elements—specifically through the Community Protection Unit (*Satlinmas*)—in maintaining public order and tranquility to enhance the effectiveness of enforcement and compliance regarding regional regulations. It also highlights the need to strengthen the roles and authority of the Bojonegoro Regency Public Order Enforcers (*Satpol PP*) in collaboration with other regional agencies, particularly regarding the enforcement of regional regulations and the guidance and empowerment of *Satlinmas*.
It is hoped that this study will serve as a foundation and provide the necessary solutions to resolve local challenges regarding the maintenance of public order, public tranquility, and community protection in Bojonegoro Regency. Through this study, PPKK Fisipol UGM reaffirms its commitment to regional development through a scientific approach that delivers tangible impacts on the community.
