Yogyakarta, April 15, 2026—FISIPOL UGM trained 25 educational staff in public relations and protocol on Wednesday in the Dean’s Meeting Room to improve their professionalism in handling events with important guests.
This training aims to equip educational staff with practical knowledge regarding ceremonial procedures, venue layout, respect, and dress code for official events in accordance with government standards. This activity was held as a strategic step to strengthen FISIPOL UGM’s image as a professional, responsive, and international-class institution.
In this training session, communication strategy consultant, Winda Mizwar Pratiwi, S.E., M.I.Kom., in her presentation titled “The Strategic Role of Public Relations in Higher Education,” conveyed the importance of strategic steps taken by higher education public relations in crisis management. “The education sector experiences the greatest decline in public trust during a crisis because society demands greater ethics and transparency,” she said.
