“We hope that our initiated social movement can hold many people to participate and spread goodness, even starting on a small scale,” said Risnu M. Rahmat Alviani, founder of Kindness Kebaikan who became one of the Sharing Session Fisipol Creative Hub on Thursday ( 29/3). In the event also invited Creative changemaker 1, the talent that carries the thesis works, Yahya Fadhil Ilmi who was taking his final year in Social Development and Welfare (PSdK) Fisipol UGM. With the theme Innovation Visual Content, Yahya and Drs. Purwoputranto as an invited guest participated in filling Sharing Session which has been held for the third time. This weekly event is held at Digital Library (Digilib) Café, Fisipol UGM.

Sharing session begins with material exposure by Risnu. Engaged in education, the Kind of Kindness is a social movement focusing on providing scholarships and guidance to students in Yogyakarta. “At this stage we are still using fixed donations and tentative donations distributed to awardee,” said Risnu. However, he added that in the long-term plan, the Goodness Knot will begin to manage a series of business funding activities. This business funding activity is a way for the Good Kindness not to depend 100% with incoming donations. The concept of scholarships that not only provide educational assistance but also the formation of a Kind of Kindness so that the awardee can become an independent person and move and give outcome along with Kindness Knot.

For the target and the targeted criteria, the Goodness Knot has some key characteristics. The target of the scholarship recipients of Kind Kindness are among others are less able, do not have access, and experience “incident” extraordinary. The character that distinguishes the Kindness Knot with another scholarship program is the value of this platform where the scholarship comes from people who want to channel their little goodness to others. In addition, the scholarship also emphasizes the value of sense of belonging to the recipients with individual coaching and mentoring. As an interactive discussion tool, in the discussion that runs many innovation-related inputs that should be done Kind of Kebaikan, especially for innovation of fund source in order to improve sustainability program.

The next session, filled by Yahya Fadhil who raised the visual content innovation. According to the majority of millenial generations who use social media as part of their daily life, it is necessary to have a content innovation that can create learning innovations during consumption of various content received. “Our biggest homework generation is how we can utilize social media as a source of learning through positive content innovation that we consume,” said Yahya.

In line with what was revealed by Yahya, Drs. Purwoputranto as an invited guest participated in providing an overview of the characterization of today’s generation. He mentions that there are four rounds of generations that He identifies. Babakan is, among others, baby boomer generation, generation X, Y, and now Z. According to the difference in common characteristics possessed by the generation, the learning approach must also be tailored to its characteristics. “Through the rapid development of the digital world should not be educated children with material jejalan, but how to think fit to filter all available information in sight. One of them is done through small changes, for example in the form of Visual Content Innovation initiated by Yahya, “said Purwoputranto. (/ fdr)
