UGM Undergraduate Program in Political Science and Government Undergoes LAMSPAK Accreditation Field Assessment

Yogyakarta, April 30, 2026─The Undergraduate Program in Political Science and Government conducted a LAMSPAK Accreditation Field Assessment on Thursday (April 30). This series of activities took place in the Dean’s Meeting Room of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIPOL) UGM.

The assessment was attended by the dean’s office, department and study program heads, lecturers, educational staff, quality assurance units, student representatives, alumni, and external users. The assessors tasked with reviewing the field assessment were Dr. Dewi Erowati, S.Sos., M.Si. from Universitas Diponegoro and Prof. Dr.phil. Aditya Perdana, S.IP., M.Si. from the Universitas Indonesia.

In his remarks, the Dean of FISIPOL UGM, Dr. Wawan Mas’udi briefly introduced the academic and non-academic facilities at FISIPOL to promote student achievement. The faculty provides adequate learning facilities and supports student wellness.

Concluding his remarks, Wawan expressed his gratitude to the assessors for conducting the field accreditation. He viewed the assessment process as a learning opportunity for the faculty to verify data and explore the strengths of study programs that may have been under-recognized. He said, “Thank you for attending, especially for the Undergraduate Program of Political Science and Goverment study program, to review the documents and uncover our potential that has yet to be discovered, including confirming many things. In this way, we will learn a lot.”

Following the opening session, the agenda continued with a session with the Heads of Study Program Management Units and Study Programs, data confirmation of the Final Evaluation Document (FED), and a session with the Internal Quality Assurance Implementer. The assessment agenda also included a confirmation session and dialogue involving lecturers, students, alumni, alumni users, middle management, and educational staff. This series of assessments will then end with the delivery of feedback and the signing of the Field Assessment Minutes.
