Course Description
Evidence Based Policy (EBP) advocates a more rational, rigorous and systematic approach in policy making. The pursuit of EBP is based on the premise that policy decisions should be better informed by available evidence, and should include rational analysis. This is because policy and practice which are based on systematic evidence are seen to produce better outcome. as one of the most contemporary approaches in public policy and policy science, it is very important to introduce EBP in public administration and public policy education program. This international short course is designed as an introduction to the discourse of EBP and designated for all students in the Facultty of Social adn Political Scienses.

- Prof. Woothisarn Tanchai (King Prajadhipok’s Institute, Thailand; field of expertise: decentralization and local governance, public policy, social policy, people participation).

Requirements
To be registered for this International Short-course on EBP, you must:
- Be an undergraduate/graduate student of FISIPOL
- Submit a one-page statement of intent. Briefly explain what you know about EBP, a reseach idea, and how this short-course will help you with your research.
