Jurusan Hubungan Internasioal bekerjasama dengan University of Melbourne dan Universitas Islam Indonesia menyelenggarakan Convention on Australian Studies 2015 dengan tema seminar “Enhancing Mutual Understanding Between Indonesia and Australia : Lesson Learned and Patterns Ahead” . Seminar ini mengundang beberapa pembicara diantaranya:

- Prof. John F. Murphy – Professor, School of Social and Political Sciences (speaker, University of Melbourne)
- Michael Bachelard – Indonesia correspondent (speaker, Fairfax Media)
- H.E Dr Darmansjah Djumala – Head of BPPK Ministry of Foreign Affairs (speaker, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia)
- Drs. Dafri Agus Salim, MA – Lecturer of International Relations Dept. (speaker, UGM)
