Yogyakarta, April 7, 2026—The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at Universitas Gadjah Mada (FISIPOL UGM) has installed special chairs for students who take notes using their left hand. Have you ever noticed how a left-handed student writes on a lecture chair? The chair design, with a desk attached to the right side of the body, is common in most classrooms and often presents a challenge for those who are left-handed.
