Kram Corporation is PMA Company with more than 40 employees urgently seeking qualified individuals for participaton in the infrastructure project in East Kalimantan as English Translation.
Job functions :
- Translate text on various subjects from the source language into target language.
- Convert written materials from one language into another, such as books, publications, or web pages.
- Perform any other tasks as required terms by management to facilitate the smooth running of business
- Proof read text translated by other (freelance) translators prior to delivery to the client.
- Check translations (from translators) of technical terms and terminology to ensure that they are accurate and remain consistent throughout translation revisions
- Liaise with clients with regard to project planning and work scheduling
- Attend conferences, meetings to mediate discussion by interpreting and translating simultaneously and consecutively during various meeting
- Ensure the translation section complies with the data protection and IT security policy.
- At all times maintain confidentiality, not disclosing to unauthorized persons matters of a confidential nature, translated material or commercially sensitive information relating to the company.
- Ensure that confidential information held both physically and electronically is not accessible to unauthorized persons
- Compile terminology and information to be used in translations, including technical terms such as those for legal material.
- Carry out research activities to gain a better understanding of the nature of the text he/she is translating at any time
