Yogyakarta, June 18, 2026—The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIPOL) UGM held a Faculty Working Meeting on Thursday (June 18). Held in the 4th Floor Auditorium of FISIPOL UGM, the meeting was attended by all faculty leaders, from the Dean and Vice Deans, to the Heads and Secretaries of Departments and Study Programs.
In general, the Faculty Working Meeting focused on the evaluation and discussion of Lecturer Performance Incentives (IKD). The Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Dr. Wawan Mas’udi, emphasized the importance of discussing IKD as a gateway to the forum.
“By discussing IKD, we will discuss aspects related to teaching and learning, research and publications, and human resource management,” Wawan said.

The discussion between faculty and department leaders also focused on human resource management within the faculty. Furthermore, based on academic data presented by the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Dr. Poppy Sulistyaning Winanti, two key areas of focus for the faculty were identified. These two points include the evaluation of teaching load compliance and the requirements for lecturer presence on campus. This improvement in discipline and optimization of teaching standards demonstrates the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences’ (FISIPOL) commitment to supporting quality education.
In addition to the performance evaluation, the Working Meeting also comprehensively discussed preparation for lectures for the upcoming odd semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year and the Single Tuition Fee (UKT) for students. Poppy presented a timeline that included mapping out the courses to be offered in each study program and the assignment of their lecturers. Beyond managing lecture routines, the faculty leadership also discussed preparations for welcoming new students, including the readiness to implement PIONIR Gadjah Mada at the university and faculty levels.
This Working Meeting is expected to create a more productive academic climate and strengthen the foundation of FISIPOL UGM’s management to be more adaptive, professional, and competitive.
